Daniel Rygorsky is a Shareholder in the Firm’s Litigation Practice Group in the Los Angeles office. Mr. Rygorsky represents leading e-commerce and technology companies across the nation, providing practical business advice aimed at successfully navigating statutory and regulatory schemes that often present obstacles to achieving business objectives. Mr. Rygorsky has assisted clients in navigating the audit process conducted by, as well as the administrative process of challenging assessments issued by, states and localities with respect to various taxes imposed on businesses. Such work has included sales and use tax, business license tax, payroll tax, parking tax, occupancy tax, and general excise tax, in matters involving tax imposed by the states, including California, Hawaii, Georgia, Arizona, Washington, and Oregon, as well as counties throughout the State of Florida, and numerous cities, including Los Angeles, San Diego, Anaheim, San Francisco, Palm Springs, Santa Barbara, Atlanta, Portland, Seattle, Phoenix, and Tempe. Mr. Rygorsky is also well versed in matters relating to statutory and regulatory requirements imposed on money transmitters and payment processors, the Americans with Disabilities Act, ERISA, and the Credit Repair Organizations Act.

Mr. Rygorsky earned his J.D. from Columbia University School of Law in 2002 and was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. He earned his B.A in 1999 from Dartmouth College where he earned the Pressman Prize for Excellence in American Politics.
