J. Noland Franz is licensed to practice law in the states of Arizona, Colorado and Missouri. Mr. Franz, who is certified by the State Bar of Arizona as an Estate & Trust Specialist and has extensive experience in business and securities law, focuses his practice on estate planning, trust and probate administration, asset protection planning, business formation and business succession (exit) planning, business tax planning, private offerings of securities, and trust and estate litigation and appeals.

Mr. Franz is a former trial attorney for the Securities & Exchange Commission. He has in-depth experience in securities law and related matters, and served for a number of years as an arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and, prior to that, for the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD).

Mr. Franz is a member of a nationwide network of estate planning lawyers known as WealthCounsel. He has conducted Continuing Professional Education workshops and seminars on estate planning and tax exempt organizations for the State Bar of Arizona, Lorman Education Services, and the National Business Institute.

Mr. Franz earned his J.D. at the University of Michigan School of Law. Mr. Franz earned his M.B.A. from the University of Missouri at Kansas City. Before law school, after attending Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut, until the middle of his junior year, Mr. Franz received his B.A. in Economics at the University of Kansas.
