Samantha Baker is an Attorney in the Firm’s Portland office and a member of the Litigation practice group, focusing on Trust and Estate Litigation as well as Labor & Employment. Prior to joining Buchalter, she worked at a Portland law firm where she focused on real estate litigation, employment litigation, and trusts and estates. In law school, she received mentorship and practical experience through several diverse legal internships, including the Oregon Court of Appeals, Immigration Counseling Service, the National Center on Sexual Exploitation, and Willamette University’s Trusts and Estates Clinic.

Ms. Baker earned her J.D., cum laude, from Willamette University College of Law, where she was a Presidential Scholar, Academic Excellence Fellow, Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of International Law and Dispute Resolution, and President of the Public Interest Law Project. She earned an M.S. in Nonprofit Management and B.S. in Music Industry, cum laude, both from Northeastern University.
