
Tia Gonzalez is a member of the Litigation practice group in the Firm’s Los Angeles office. Ms. Gonzalez focuses her practice on receiverships and trust & estate litigation. She represents individuals, fiduciaries, trustees and receivers through the State of California in all aspects of litigation through trial.
Ms. Gonzalez has represented state and federal court receivers in the execution of their duties in equity, real estate, post-judgment, and health & safety receiverships. Ms. Gonzalez has also obtained receivers on behalf of corporations seeking an efficient dissolution of assets.
Ms. Gonzalez understands that trust and estate litigation can be particularly difficult due to the issues inherent in navigating the death or incapacity of a family member. She serves as a strong advocate for her clients while also seeking common ground for successful resolution of these matters.

Ms. Gonzalez earned her J.D. from the California Western School of Law. During law school she served as a judicial extern first for the Hon. John A. Houston and later in the Pro Se Unit under supervision of the Hon. Anthony J. Battaglia at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California. Ms. Gonzalez received the Thomas R. Pickering Foreign Affairs Fellowship, which introduces graduate students to U.S. diplomacy work around the world.
She earned her M.P.A. from The George Washington University and B.A. in Political Science from Mount Saint Mary’s University.
