Buchalter Nemer is pleased to announce that Kimberly Huangfu was named to Lawyers of Color Second Annual Hot List, which recognizes early- to mid-career minority attorneys excelling in the legal profession. Ms. Huangfu was among a small number of minority attorneys selected in the Western region. The honorees, who are in-house counsel, government attorneys, and law firm associates and partners, went through a rigorous selection process. Both attorneys will be profiled in the Lawyers of Color Hot List 2014 July issue and honored at a reception in July 2014.
Ms. Huangfu is an Associate Attorney in the Firm’s Real Estate Practice Group in San Francisco. Her practice emphasizes all areas of real estate law, including land development, land use entitlements and litigation, leasing, green building, with a focus on securing and negotiating development entitlements for retail, residential, commercial, and energy projects. Ms. Huangfu also advises clients on a variety of environmental, zoning, and local regulations, and prepares and reviews CEQA documents, including mitigated negative declarations and environmental impact reports. She is well-versed in the Clean Water Act, Porter-Cologne Water Quality Control Act, Endangered Species Act, Clean Air Act, and National Environmental Policy Act.
