In the firm’s San Francisco office, Bukola Mabadeje has extensive experience representing lenders in the middle market segment in real property and personal property secured and unsecured transactions. She advises equity investors in utilizing a varying mix of investment structures to meet their needs. She also boasts an impressive track record and a substantial client portfolio in different types of financing for real estate transactions for purposes such as acquisition, development, and construction, whether in commercial real estate financing or community development financing.
Alison M. Pear in Portland specializes in corporate transactions, with a focus on corporate governance, securities, mergers and acquisitions. Her expertise extends to serving both micro and small-cap public and private companies. She spent several years as in-house counsel at a NYSE-listed publicly-traded natural gas utility where she gained valuable insight into internal corporate workings, as well risk-based and business-oriented decision-making. She prides herself on being able to calibrate to client needs, and being a lawyer that people want to work with.
Scott M. Salomon in Los Angeles specializes in real estate transactions, with an emphasis on tax credit finance and real estate secured transactions. As a member of the Community Development Finance group, Scott represents investors, lenders, developers, and borrowers in the structuring, negotiation, and closing of financing for projects qualifying for 4% and 9% affordable housing tax credits, historic rehabilitation tax credits, solar tax credits, and new markets tax credits.
Gordon Stuart, focuses on trust & estate litigation and elder abuse, as well as real estate and general business litigation. He has extensive experience representing high-net-worth individuals in complex trust, estate, and conservatorship proceedings, as well as businesses, manufacturers, and municipal agencies in negligence, premises, and products liability matters. He is based in the firm’s Los Angeles office.
