Los Angeles, March 09, 2017 – Buchalter is pleased to announce and welcome its newest Shareholder, J. David Hitchcock to its Los Angeles Office. Applying his 17 years of all-encompassing Real Estate expertise, Mr. Hitchcock will join Buchalter’s Real Estate practice from his previous role as Partner at Kennerly Lamishaw & Rossi, LLP.
Mr. Hitchcock brings a wealth of knowledge to Buchalter, specifically in real estate acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, loan workouts and restructurings, loan sales, secured real estate finance, joint ventures, and general real estate matters. Additionally, his extensive experience includes representing clients in all areas of the real estate market – private equity funds, real estate developers, core and value-add real estate owners/operators, public school districts, as well as publicly traded REITs.
Coinciding with the firm’s announcement of its sixth office, the addition of Mr. Hitchcock is part of the ongoing Buchalter expansion initiative.

Mr. Hitchcock received his B.A. with Honors from the University of Chicago in 1993. He earned his J.D. from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law where he was Order of the Coif and Articles Editor for the University of Southern California Law Review.
