Buchalter’s Labor & Employment team led by Shareholder Tracy Warren and Attorneys Rick Waltman and Kathryn Fox were recently victorious defending a major hotel chain against multiple alleged ADA violations by a serial ADA plaintiff who has filed thousands of ADA lawsuits. In one matter, the complaint was dismissed and plaintiff declared a vexatious litigant in the Central District of California; and the Second Amended Complaint of a case filed in Hawaii was dismissed without leave to amend. The wins represent a milestone for the major hotel chain who, like many businesses, had been peppered with ADA lawsuits, fought back, and won.
